In this news story, the Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) describes the audiobook program from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) as a "godsend." Tom Miller, Executive Director of BVA, poetically states the value of the NLS service, "It reopens an aspect of your life you thought was lost forever.”
The New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center (TBBC) is one of the regional cooperative libraries of the NLS program at the U.S. Library of Congress. TBBC serves New Jersey residents of all ages who meet the NLS eligibility criteria. We are honored to know how much the service is valued by our veterans.
