"The Rise of E-Reading"

The Pew Research Center on the Internet and American Life just published "The Rise of E-Reading."  Here are just a few facts from this report that we found interesting in terms of serving print-disabled residents:

61 percent of audiobook listeners want to borrow from libraries, rather than purchase audiobooks.

For non-book readers:

1. 18% of those 16 and older report physical or health conditions make it difficult to read.
2. 25% of those over age 50 report physical or health conditions make it difficult to read.
