The well-known anthropologist Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”  This certainly epitomizes the spirit of "Operation All the Way Home," a program for veterans created by a high school history teacher and students at Lancaster High in California.

On this day and on every day, we honor everyone who served our country. We thank our veterans and active duty military for their service and we keep them in our hearts and minds always.
