Berklee College of Music  has launched a program for Blind & Visually Impaired students!

From Berklee's website: "Berklee launched a five-week pilot program this summer to integrate basic Braille music notation and music hardware and software specifically designed for blind students with music theory and ear training. Led by blind Berklee alumnus Chi Kim, who helped design the curriculum and supervise the technology purchases, the class meets four days a week. The pilot has been so successful that it will be integrated into the curriculum this fall and be taught by Kim."

The Boston Globe had an article on this back in August, but right now you need to either be a subscriber or pay to read it. Here is the link: http://www.boston.com/news/education/higher/articles/2010/08/09/berklee_introduces_music_program_for_blind_students/
